Under: Vows
Preparing for weddings can be a cause for great joy and great stress. Sometimes the stress can be alleviated by having a time of quite reflection. Why not take that opportunity to separate yourself from the hustle and bustle, and write your wedding vows. Some of the greatest poems have been written as a source of stress relief. Emotions run high, and both love and hate are multiplied. This can allow the most mundane of authors to create an intense emotion-filled passage. The following can be a guideline to creating some wonderful wedding vows. However, you should write whatever comes from your heart. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Don't Stress over the Writings
While channeling the stress of wedding preparations is good, stressing over the writings is not. If you do, it could potentially give you writer's block which will not do you any good. Remember that the vows are supposed to be a natural growth from you and your love. If you try to hard, it may not sound natural. Trust me, natural is better than professional. You are writing this for your future spouse and he/she is marrying you because he/she loves what you are. You and your vows will be perfect.
Reflections
From the moment you first met, until now, you have been collecting stories and facts for these vows. Quickly paraphrasing highlights of your past, present, and even future can create an enjoyable and gripping recollection of what you both have become together.
Promises
Marriages are a sacred promise to love and grow with each other. Restating this promise of commitment can be a very touching way to proclaim your loving intentions.
